A moth collector is drawn deep into a forest at night by a particularly unusual specimen of prey. Unbeknown to the man, something else within the forest is putting together a collection. A dark yet beautiful tree gathers various objects found throughout the forest, and now it has its eyes on a new prize just within its reach.

The film is the first part of a series in which the various phases of sound is analyzed in its creative and technological aspects.

Medusa is the name of an Italian submarine of the II World War. On January 30th, 1942, it was torpedoed by the English submarine Thorn. The Italian submarine sank in the Adriatic sea near the coast of Pola (Istria). Big part of the crew died in the burst. Fourteen men remained alive at thirty metres deep, imprisoned in the submarine stern. Torpedo-boats, submarines, steamboats, motorboats, a lighter and divers came to save them.
