There was a robot and an old blind man crossing the street. The robot was run down by a car as the result of neglecting traffic red light, while the comparatively weak old blind man had went across the street safely, as he complied with traffic regulation.

SWEET & SOUR tells a story in the vision of a vagabond dog named Allen. It tries to speak out the feelings to the extraordinary and magnificent Chinese culture as a foreigner’s point of view, and exhibit the interesting compacts while the Chinese culture is exchanging and blending with western culture. The story is humoristic and the character is vivid and lovely.

The time of the story is set at early Tang dynasty when Di Renjie was around 15. The story tells the audience how the smart detective Di Renjie, who is as famous as another ancient Chinese detective Bao Gong, settle the lawsuits. Each story is told in two episodes, perfectly coherent and with combination of motiom, fun, suspension, and nervousness, becoming a detective animation popular with the children an modern time.
