Born in Volos, Greece.
He studied film at the Lykourgos Stavrakos Film School and started working in film and television productions as an assistant director at a very young age.
From 1989-1993 he moved in USA where he attended intensive seminars on film production, new technologies (in New School, UCLA Extension, and American Film Institute) and story structure and screenwriting (under screenwriting guru John Truby).
